"Man is the measure of all things." That's how Protagoras believed we should measure things. But in our time it is money that has become the measure of all things.

I am going to get my philosophy degree in a few months, and that's supposed to make me a better person than someone without a degree. The same way that someone with a business degree is supposed to be a better person than someone with a philosophy degree. And of course, if you don't have any kind of education but have a lot of money you are better than everybody else. That's how they measure things in this world.

In our world, we measure people by the redness of blood, vastness of spirit, and the depth of their silence.
