Started a book on Platonism written in 1924 by a British philosopher. Very interesting and engaging. The author claims that Plato's "influence, like the pressure of the atmosphere, goes undetected because we never really get free from it." How true that sounds.
"I'm not an activist, I'm a journalist. If there's something good that's happening as a result of my photography, great, but that's not why I'm doing it. To me it's more about informing people than telling them what to think." This is what Christoph Bangert says about his work. I totally agree with him. All I want to do as a photojournalist is to raise awareness, to be a vehicle for change, to ask questions without answering them.
