* Have started to read G.E. Moore's Principia Ethica. I read chapter three and absolutely loved it. He refutes Hedonism, Utilitarianism, and Egoism beautifully. He also points out Mill's ridiculous mistakes regarding hedonism. When I first read Mill I said to myself how can a philosopher so famous be so wrong and shallow.
- "to say that pleasure always causes us to want is quite a different thing from saying that what we want is always pleasure."

* Sometimes I think that at the end of it life can be very lonely, empty, meaningless, and cold. But then again when I see a painting by van Gogh, read a poem of Rumi, or look deeply into her sad eyes the flames of love melt the ice of life and bring light to the depth of my being.
