if robert frank was not a photographer he would for sure be a poet. in his pictures he captures the lyrical truth. the same way that kertész did before him, and the way marie-banier is doing now. both to lesser extent...

read somewhere that, "the avant-garde is the last refuge of the untalented." how truthful!

listening to cornel west's speech on black history month at brown university. he is a man of wisdom, of love, of compassion, of justice. what a philosopher ought to be.
