Sometimes I wish I could go into a room in some remote part of the earth, lock the doors, and wait until I die. I don’t mean this in a suicidal way. A person who commits suicide is impatient and doesn’t want to wait for death, and that’s why he’s a coward. It takes a lot of courage to wait. Most of us want “death” to be something that happens to us when we least expect it. We all know that we are going to die but we don’t want to wait for our death. It seems to me that the purpose of life is in that waiting.
